Molly, Thanks so much for your kind words about Cassie and Ben's story! At the moment there are no plans to continue the series, but maybe someday those other two Wilder boys will get their shot! :)

Hi, Kirsty! I'm so glad you enjoyed Jamie and William's story. I hope to be able to write a story for Polly in the future. I loved her character, and I think she'd make a good heroine. :)

Hi, Kristin! I am so sorry that I missed answering your question sooner! I am so glad you enjoyed Jamie Ever After. This was my first Regency, and I am hooked! I hope to be able to write more Regency romance in the future!

I love red, too. I just had my nails painted and noticed that they are nearly the same shade as yours!

I think the trick is to enjoy the research, but to treat it like an iceberg. The top 10% might show up in the story, but the rest remains unseen. Have the character interact with historical things and events and make them organic to the story.

Carrie, I think I love the simplicity of the plot. You get to pare away everything down to the hero and the heroine and focus on their relationship.

Usually, my writer's block happens when I reach a point in the story that is either HUGE, and I know I have to get it right or the story will fall apart, OR I have hit a part of the story where I've diffused the conflict too much. Either way, I have to just plunge on.
If it is a matter of not having any ideas for new stories, then I just go to my bookshelves of history books and start reading. Story ideas always come to me that way.

There's so much to love! I love creating stories, I love meeting readers, I love thinking and talking and learning about writing. I love all the friends I've made on this journey, writers, editors, readers.

Don't quit. Read, read, read, write, write, write. Read books on craft, take classes, enter contests. Cling tenaciously to your dream and learn all you can.

I'm finishing up edits on a novella and plotting out a historical romance set on the western Minnesota prairie.

A deadline is a good way to get me motivated! If I don't have one from a publisher, then I ask my agent to give me one. Otherwise, I'm liable to fritter away my time, procrastinate, 'research' or padiddle about.

My current book idea came from my love of all things archaeology. I have always loved Egyptology, and was thrilled to have the chance to write about a hero who was an Egyptologist. The story is called The Archaeologist's Find, and it will be included in The Most Eligible Bachelor Collection releasing from Barbour Publishing 5/1/2015.
