Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Louise Titchener My most recent mystery, Hard Water, is an historical set in 1884 on the island of Put in Bay in Lake Erie. The first to Oliver Redcastle mysteries are set in Baltimore, but I wanted Oliver to investigate a mystery on the island I love to visit. It has a fascinating Civil War history (John Brown Jr. and his brother settled there) and that fits right in with Oliver's history as an ex-Pinkerton and Union Army sharpshooter.
