My Stepfather (my mother's husband) has disappeared off the face of this Earth and his house had been sold, so that could be a good mystery.
I'd quite like to track him down- not that I liked him that much - but his house was my mother's too, and it did contain many family and childhood photos that I'd like to get my hands on.

There's no such thing as writer's block. There's just an unwillingness to start (or finish) project knowing it might not be as good as you want it to be. The trick is to start, and the process of writing creates ideas to make it better. Then have an ending to work for, and have a certainty that you're going to finish it whatever.

I'm currently on the final stages of re-writes for my thriller 'Painkiller' (out early 2016), and working on 'Dead Ringers' (radio 4) and 'Newzoids' (ITV). I also write for every issue of 'Private Eye'.
