There are a couple ways I deal with writer's block. One way is to just keep writing, even if the words are crap. Writer's block can be like any other clog. If you just keep pushing, it eventually will dislodge and go away.
When that doesn't work, I change to a different story. I usually have multiple stories developing at the same time, and switching between them can keep my imagination fresh.
Other times, I just can't write. So, I read. I read the type of books or stories I'm writing. I even read the stuff I've already written. Doesn't seem to matter what I read, but eventually the block will go away and I can resume building my story.

For me, I love working with my characters. They become my friends, and my enemies, and I love playing with them, working with them, fighting with them, crying with them, laughing with them. For me, it is all about the relationships.

Write. No, really, just write! If you want to write, then you just need to start doing it! Even if you don't have an idea, write anyway. Pick a story from your life and write that, or pick your favorite movie and change one major event and write about what happens next.
If you do have an idea for a story, WRITE IT! Don't get hung up on getting it perfect the first time. Just get the idea on paper, then start developing it from there.

I am currently working on several stories, but one in particular that I'm close to finishing is about a lady who lives next door to an artist. As the plot unfolds, and the artist comes over to borrow her shower, things really begin to steam up! I'm not sure about a title yet, but the placer title is "His Secret Muse". I don't want to spoil anything, so let's just say that when she attends his gallery opening, and sees his paintings, she realizes just how...accurate his imagination is.

Sometimes I'll hear a song and think of its naughty version, or an idea will just come to me out of the blue, but most often, I'm sitting at my desk, thinking up ideas one after another. I make a list of them and unless I get inspired to write otherwise, then I go to the list. Right now, however, I'm working on an Older Woman/Younger Man story and the idea for that wasn't born until after I began writing. I knew I wanted to write a story about an older woman seducing a younger man, so I started to write one. The plot is unfolding as I go. Pantsing is a really hot and sexy way to write erotica; I never know what is going to happen until it does!

I was sitting in my study, dozing of, when a memory entered my mind about my college days. I got to thinking about a history class and all the people that were in it with me. One particular face stood out. I don't remember him, nor do I even think he was real, but as my mind focused on him, it began to wander, and I began to daydream about what could happen if I had gone to class without underwear. Well, one thing led to another, and The History Lesson was born!
