If you mean characters I've written, I'd probably say Cecil from #gods because I think of him as very strong/unapologetic about being gay in ways (aesthetic, political, sexual, #queerfuturistic) that I think/hope make him as fun to read as he was to write.

I just finished "What I Talk About When I Talk About Running" by Haruki Murakami, which -- as someone who writes novels and runs marathons -- I found very enjoyable/"relatable," but I think would offer insight to anyone trying to find a place for art (and maybe any kind of physical exercise) in their life.

While running one morning through Volcano National Park on the Big Island of Hawaii, the only other person I saw over the course of two hours was a woman who passed me in the opposite direction, also running very fast and wearing sandals. The mystery is whether she was Pele, Fire Goddess and Creator of the islands.
