I read a news item about a religious artifact that was stolen from a church. It came with a legend about how it was left on the shores of Positano by pirates who believed the sea was pummelling them because they had stolen it. I already had my three main characters: a billionaire archaeologist, his bodyguard, and a museum illustrator. Two guys and a girl. An adventure clearly presented itself. All that remained was to create a plot around these elements.

A new series of Romantic suspense novels called Fresco Nights. The books will appeal to adventurous souls who love to travel and experience new cultures, and are interested in the mysterious and sometimes dangerous world of the antiquities trade, and the romantic situations it can spawn. I have always loved these types of stories and have created a world where valuable treasures are destroyed or sold on the black market for villainous purposes, and love is a question of secrets.

I don't. I don't believe I have ever had writer's block. Maybe it's because I have too much stuff swirling inside my head. It can't help but come spilling out. Also I don't worry about how good it is. No one is going to read anything I write until I'm ready for them to. My philosophy is: anything can be fixed.
