It is! New book should be out Halloween 2021!

I JUST finished this book and it should be releasing 2021!
Sherry D. Ficklin
Absolutely it can. It's the beginning of a prequel story, so you don't need to have read the others!

The new book in the queen series! It's a prequel!

Alas, no. Zoe's story is completed with this. There may be a time when I revisit Logan (he's having a busy afterlife, actually) but it's not in the plan for now. However, have you even considered writing your own ending? I love fanfiction, and if you'd like to come up with your own HEA, I'd love to check it out! :)
I'm glad you liked the story!

I wish it could! Unfortunately we discovered that the ebook technology hasn't quite caught up with out aspirations yet, and the files were so monstrously huge that older readers couldn't download them, leaving some readers out of luck. So we are releasing some bonus materials on my website after the finale releases in print this November!

It will be! My narrator took some time off to have a baby (what a great reason to take a break!) but book 2 and 3 will be available on audio by next year!

I've been writing for almost 8 years, professionally. But I've been writing fanfic for closer to 15. :)

Great catch! Wow, funny how those little things sneak in. Unfortunately, once a book goes to print there is no more going back to fix snafus like this. But thanks for being vigilant!

We toyed with it, but what we found with book one is that the files ended up being so large, some, particularly older e-readers, couldn't handle them. So unfortunately not. But I will be doing some similar things that will be available on my website soon.

It WILL be up on Netgalley in June. You can also request ARCs direct from the publisher, CleanTeenPublishing.com

Hi Kelly! The Lost Imperials are a fun read for any age, I'd say 5th grade and up. It's a very clean book, I think the most racy thing in it is an instance of one person "flipping the bird".
Losing Logan, however is written for a mature teen audience, 15+. There's a lot of language, a lot of making out, and a good deal of issues like teen pregnancy, death, and things of that nature. It's very much based on a real high school experience and it doesn't shy away from anything.
Hope that helps!

Hello Fareya!
I know what you mean about Logan and Zoe. I think about them a lot too. Part of me wishes their story was longer, but after I wrote the last chapter, it really felt done to me. I waited some time before I finally added the epilogue, effectively closing the door on their story. Thanks for taking the time to read Losing Logan, I'm so glad you liked it!
Cheers!

The second installment is all written and beginning the editing process. We are hoping for a summer 2015 release! (That would put ARCs out around Feb-March) I'm so glad you liked it! It has been an absolute joy to write! XOXP

I'm so glad you liked it! There are three parts to the series. Book 2 is Queen of Tomorrow and book 3 is Queen of Always! :)

I think my advice would be, just keep writing. There are a lot of things that can get in your head, rejections, critiques, negative feedback, but none of that really matters if you are enjoying yourself and loving what you do.
I was 28 when my first novel was published. But I've seen authors who publish as young as 15, and others who published the first time in their 70's. It's never too early or too late.
Losing Logan was loosely based on something that actually happened to me. I was relating the story to a friend one day and thought, what if? and Logan was born. I actually wrote it faster than I've ever written anything. 30 days, start to finish.
And there's no such thing as too many questions! :)

I sure can! I just completed this book and it was SO fun to write. I can tell you there is a lot more political drama in this book, a couple assassination attempts, and we get a few familiar faces returning to court. I think, for me, book 2 is really about this series of fragile bonds between people, and what happens when those bonds are tested, and broken.
Catherine the Great was such a dynamic woman, in a time where dynamic women were hard to find. I always wondered how she became the person she was, wondered what might have happened if she'd chosen a different path. So, while I wanted to stay true to the heart of her story, I was desperate to explore it and play with it a bit too.
