Christine Pope Hi, Shelley -- sorry it disappeared; it's now included as an extra story at the end of Breath of Life. You can contact me directly at christine@christinepope.com and let me know if you need a .mobi or an .epub file, and I'll send it directly to you. Thanks!
Christine Pope Hi, Jillian.

You'll see a glimpse of Robert and Danica in the beginning of the next book (Impractical Magic, which comes out in April), so you'll be able to get an idea of how Robert is coping in the modern world, even though I don't plan to have another entire book dedicated to that particular couple.

Thanks!

Christine Pope Hi, Susan.

Yes! Right now I have at least two more books planned for that series. The first one is The Wolf of Harrow Hall, which should be coming out in either late February or early March (I'm not sure yet). The second one is tentatively titled Moon Dance (based on the 12 Dancing Princesses fairytale) and will be a fall release.

I'm so glad you're enjoying the Latter Kingdoms books. :-)

Christine Pope Hi, Fable.

When I published The Zhore Deception, I still wasn't sure what I planned to do with the series, so that's why I said it was on hiatus. However, when it came time to update my website, I'd more or less made the decision that I wouldn't be writing any more books in that series.

In the intervening time, though, I've had a few opportunities come up that would bring an extra marketing push for that series early next year, so for right now, I'm just saying I don't know for sure what I'll be doing with it. I don't have any Gaian Consortium books on my (very tentative!) publishing schedule for next year, but I'll reevaluate if any of those projects end up coming to fruition.

I'm sorry I don't have a more definitive answer for you, but things change fast in this business, so a lot of the time I honestly can't comment on books/projects that are still more than six months out.

Thank you for asking the question!

Christine Pope No, I thought about attending Scripps at one point but ended up at UC Irvine.

I did live in Claremont as a small child, though. :-)
Christine Pope Sorry, no! Pope is my married name. We're from California originally, but L.A. County.
Christine Pope Hi, Brenda. Sorry it's confusing -- I did an omnibus edition of Dragon Rose/Ashes of Roses, and I had to give it a series number, so that's number five. I wish the online retailers would allow us to assign a series to a book without a number, just for cases like this, but they don't. So even though One Thousand Nights is listed as #6, it's really the fifth book of the series. I hope that helps to clear up the mystery!
Christine Pope The final book in the Witches of Cleopatra Hill trilogy is out with beta readers right now, and I'm working on the first draft of the next book in my Tales of the Latter Kingdoms series, One Thousand Nights.
