Greg Enslen Just start writing. KEEP everything you write, back it up, put it on Google Docs or in the cloud. And take notes of anything you notice or find interesting in the world. You never know when you'll need it!
Greg Enslen I just finished "White Lines," the third Frank Harper book. I'm working on "Crush," a stand-alone fiction title, along with "Yellow Jacket," the fourth Frank Harper book.
Greg Enslen Probably the Star Trek universe - it just looks awesome. Oh, and the old Star Trek, no the new JJ Abrams universe. Too many explosions!
Greg Enslen I'm taking the summer off from writing and plan to catch up on some of my reading, including the Three-Body Problem and other Hugo award winners. FYI Frank Harper's third book is nearing completion and I'm writing the fourth now. Good to hang out with Frank again--it's been a while.

Greg Enslen Glad you're liking it! Let me know what you think of it when you're finished.
Greg Enslen I don't often have this problem--in fact, my main problem is too much stuff running around in my head. When I do run into a story problem I can't solve, I usually turn to free writing--or, more accurately, free typing. I just start typing about the problem, trying to sum up my issues and what I'm looking to solve. After that I start brainstorming possible solutions and expand on them, no matter how out there they may seem. After a day or two (or a week), I usually find an answer.
