I don’t have a list. I read spontaneously and year-round – not just summer. Now that I have discovered audio books, I consume several books a week. The topic depends on my mood. Usually non-fiction.

I would travel back to Cambridge, MA (circa Nov. 1984), a setting in the first novel I ever wrote (not yet published), and I would join my characters for tea at Café Pamplona followed by a walk around the Square as it was then. That was the year I moved to Massachusetts and of course I would be the age I was then, too.

Because of my psychic and clairvoyant abilities my life is full of mysterious happenings. I draw upon all of my experiences for the books that I write. An example is my book, The Thoreau Whisperer. It is a true story about my experience connecting with the spirit of Henry David Thoreau.

I spend the off time indulging in all my other interests, the ones I feel guilty for doing when I could be writing. When I am at a point where I really can’t write then I find I am better off to just let myself go and play for a while. I throw myself into the things I like to do, like genealogy, or astrology, or I head out exploring – go somewhere I love to go, visit an antique shop or a bookstore, or sit by the ocean for a while. All the time I am stockpiling the experiences, the feelings, the sounds, the thoughts, so I can use them later when the desire and the ability to write returns.
