If I pick a character from my world, it would be Dwayne without hesitation. If I have to pick a character from another series, I think I might go with Percy Jackson. The new show has relighted my interest in that series, and if Percy is real, that means the Greek gods are. That would just make the world a very interesting place.

Is it too cheesy/cliché to say I would go to my own world? Elementōrum Patriam is supposed to be the whole world packed into a tiny space the size of the Gulf of Mexico. It'd be the fastest way to explore cultures and food. I would miss out on a lot of the landscape and whatnot, but man. It would be so cool to watch people use the elements. I would sit in the Academy Gardens for hours--just need to bring a pad of paper for writing.
If choosing my own world is not acceptable... I think I would like to go to Middle Earth and live in Hobbiton.

Depends. Some days my world just itches to be on the page, and other days I have to step away and let it sit. I mostly just try to listen to the voices in my head whenever they feel like talking to me.

Read and write. Engage in storytelling. Doesn't matter what you read. Could be the subtitles in a video game. Could be a comic. Could be a fanfiction. Just keep reading and writing. Practice your craft. Learn from the processes forged over the millennia when it comes to crafting a story. The more you write, the better you will get. It's like working at any other skill, or getting in a workout at the gym. You have to start or you will never improve.

I'm currently working on "Incinerate" the third book in the Elementalists series. It is going to be a trilogy for the main series, but I've been planning an anthology off-shoot for forever, so there will technically be a fourth book.
