Hello, T.M. My writing inspiration comes from observing people and the need to often make sense of things. I believe William Faulkner said that we often don't know how we truly feel about something until we have written about it. So, writing helps me put some of life's events into perspective and as I do that, hopefully I entertain someone else along the way. Lynn

I rarely have writer's block unless I am working very hard on something else. I have a remedy on my website under writing tips. It suggests you try an authentic photograph or primary sources of a famous person and try to write about what you think that person may have been feeling during the photo session or painting. I write daily whether journaling; making "to do" lists or whatever. When I get story ideas, I jot them down. I always think of writing pieces that may help others have a better life. I keep pen and paper in every corner of my home to capture ideas as they pour out.

I wanted to write a realistic book that would appeal to the working professional who is trying to juggle a relationship and a stressful job. In A Golden Leaf in Time Revised, the two main characters, Phoenix and Trey are having similar challenges even though they do not know each other.
