My writing inspiration comes from observing people and the need to often make sense of things. I believe William Faulkner said that we often don't know how we truly feel about something until we have written about it. So, writing helps me put some of life's events into perspective and as I do that, hopefully I entertain someone else along the way. Lynn(less)

It suggests you try an authentic photograph or primary sources of a famous person and try to write about what you think that person may have been feeling during the photo session or painting. The bottom line is to start filling up the page with words. (less)

October 2025!

October leaves fall all around,
Making little or just no sound.

Soon, to be raked in nice, neat piles,
Causing achy shoulders. No smiles.

Deepening colors thus appear,
Echoing that autumn is here.

As if a masterful paint brush,
Just stroked the beauty with no rush.

Harvest! Orange pumpkins dot the scene,
Causing observers to be keen!
