The greatest mystery in my life is whether any of this is real.
Is this world showing up in front of my eyes because I live on a rock somewhere in the Milky Way or is my brain perceiving something and creating a reality that interprets it in a way that I can make sense of? Am I in a hologram or am I the projector? Did someone put this here or is it more like a Minecraft world that shows up in front of me as I turn left and right? Was there actually just a Big Bang that flung this rock here and I'm in this meat suit thinking on my own as a product of random genetic mutations. There are lots of old maps with weird stories about people killing their brothers and angels descending and some crazy pyramids that seem too big for slaves to carry with sticks and now the government is admitting we have aliens and UFOs all around us. I mean really...what the actual F is going on here and is this a dream?
The book would explore the great mystery of who we are and how we got here looking through the eyes of a confused human trying to make sense of the broken narratives and incomplete understanding of how any of this works.
