My mother died when I was three and inadvertently, I met my father twenty years later. All I knew is for years he denied I was his son, but we look so much alike we could be brothers. Also, we were both military pilots, albeit he was a B-29 pilot during WWII and I was a career Marine pilot. No one would tell me anything so their relationship has been a mystery. While “The Dance” and “The Other Side Of Courage” are about relationships, I don’t know if I could write a mystery novel. Perhaps that is something to consider as a challenge.

There are two couples.
Sherlock Holmes and Irene Adler – In A Scandal in Bohemia. Because in previous works of Sir Doyle, Sherlock Holmes has no female interests, therefore Irene Adler makes a huge impact. Sherlock is so impressed by her intelligence and resourcefulness that he can barely function around her.
As for a work outside a series, Henry and Clare in The Time Traveler’s Wife. Henry is a librarian who travels involuntarily through time. Henry’s disappearances are unpredictable which lends an intensity to the couple’s love. They try to live normally when they can but there is always the threat that he will vanish with no warning. The love between the pair is moving and impressive.
