I'm going to discount anyone who was 'real' - and my own characters, so *thinks hard* is this cheating? My answer would be Black Beauty and Ginger. But yes, I guess that's a cheat, so, I think I'll go for Alex and Matthew Graham from Anna Belfrage's fabulous Graham Series.

I still hope so, but I've three more to write first - the sixth of my Sea Witch Voyages, a pirate non-fiction that I've been commissioned to write, and the first of another new series set in post-Roman Britain that I have in mind.

Zoyla - I am so sorry, I did nbot realise you had sent me a question (I can't figure Goodreads out very well - it isn't very reliable! ) I agree with you about Guinevere, I see her as intelligent and capable - not the sort of woman who would give everything away (her crown!) for Lancelot. Those stories, however were made-up in the 12-14th century France when 'courtly love' and unfaithful queens was the reading material of the day, The real Arthur (IF there was a real Arthur!) would have been 5th or 6th Century Britain - quite a different period. I hope you did get around to reading my TRilogy and you enjoyed them.
Again I apologise for the delay in responding!

You just have to write - anything, even if it is a load of rubbish, just write (there's always the delete button after all....)

Don't get too bogged down with the research - enough's enough. Get writing. And if you decide to go Indie - use a professional editor not family or friends.

You know, the hardest part of writing is actually putting your backside on a chair and getting on with it! LOL Its no good thinking "if only I had a quiet cottage and a lovely view I would be inspired to write!" It doesn't work! I have both - and I spend more time gazing out of the window than I do writing :-) "

No red wedding! (well not yet LOL) My main character is Captain Jesamiah Acorne and his "woman" Tiola - who is a midwife, healer and white witch. tag
No red wedding! (well not yet LOL) My main character is Captain Jesamiah Acorne and his "woman" Tiola - who is a midwife, healer and white witch. tag line is "Trouble follows Jesamiah Acorne like a ship's wake" - You know Jesamiah is going to survive whatever is thrown at him - the intrigue is how he gets out of trouble! I describe the books as a cross between Hornblower, Pirates of the Caribbean, James Bond, Sharpe and Indiana Jones :-)

My most recent book was Ripples In The Sand - the fourth Sea Witch Voyage - a blend of Historical Fiction, Nautical Adventure and Fantasy. "A Sailor's Yarn" of a tale!
