I'm currently working on a thriller. This is the second time I'm experimenting in a different genre so fingers crossed it goes well. I'm excited to be branching out from paranormal romance. I think it's good for my brain.

Don't give up.
Even with you feel like you have the worst possible luck known to humankind, or things just aren't flowing very well, or you get a crappy review or...well, you get the idea. If you give up, someone else will take your place and that means they have a better chance to get your dream job.

I feel like this is a trick question for me because I don't actually believe in writer's block. I feel like the very notion of writer's block is a curse for any writer because it gives them permission to stop writing. So I don't get blocked instead I use things to boost my motivation like friendly competition with fellow writers or word quotas for the week. I'm very goal oriented though so this works for me.
