How do you deal with writer’s block?

Angela Addams I feel like this is a trick question for me because I don't actually believe in writer's block. I feel like the very notion of writer's block is a curse for any writer because it gives them permission to stop writing. So I don't get blocked instead I use things to boost my motivation like friendly competition with fellow writers or word quotas for the week. I'm very goal oriented though so this works for me.
