Grace R. Pringle The "tic, tic, tic" of the clock drove Henry mad. Was it because he'd had a terrible night's sleep, or because it'd stopped working ten years ago?
Grace R. Pringle I once got a STINKING good deal on a giant ham that had been miss-priced. I spent half an hour talking back and forth with the meat department and the manager before they agreed, yes, I ought to get it for the marked price. I lived across the street from the grocery store. Somewhere between the cash and my apartment . . . I lost the ham. I have NO idea what happened to it. I went back to the store right away but the shift had changed and no one could tell me if a ham had been left behind. Maybe someone else needed that giant ham more than I did? I'll ask Jesus about it when I get to heaven.
Grace R. Pringle I'd become a naturalist in my own world of Quith. I'd traipse across the countryside taking notes and recording scientific data.
Grace R. Pringle Pray. Read other books. Go for a walk. Listen to music. Give myself permission not to write anything for awhile. Look at the issues in my WIP like a 3D puzzle that needs to be solved from multiple angles.
Grace R. Pringle Hanging out in the playground of your own mind. Anything can happen there, and not knowing what's at the bottom of the slide, or on the other end of the monkey bars.
Grace R. Pringle READ. WRITE. ALWAYS get beta readers. ALWAYS hire an editor. ALWAYS strive to improve.
Grace R. Pringle "Renegade Shadows" book 2 of the "Renegades of Wrath" series! So far there's MORE adventure and MORE angst.
Grace R. Pringle Songs and music have inspired a lot of my stories. I brainstorm the most when driving long distances.
Grace R. Pringle When I wrote "Between the Shadows" I was 17 and madly in love with a boy. My parents told me we should "just be friends" and wait before officially being in a relationship. This created all kinds of angst and longing and led me to pour out my feelings onto the page. P.S. I'm married to that boy now ;)
