I spent half an hour talking back and forth with the meat department and the manager before they agreed, yes, I ought to get it for the marked price. I lived across the street from the grocery store. Somewhere between the cash and my apartment . . . I lost the ham. I have NO idea what happened to it. I went back to the store right away but the shift had changed and no one could tell me if a ham had been left behind. Maybe someone else needed that giant ham more than I did? I'll ask Jesus about it when I get to heaven.(less)

Silver Blood by Grace R. Pringle
"Once I started reading Silver Blood, it was hard to put down. It reminded me of Narnia, but more grown up with dragons and other fantastical creatures.

It was very clean, fast-moving story and I could easily hand this book to my fantasy-loving tween." Read more of this review »
Silver Blood by Grace R. Pringle
"This was an interesting story with great characters, intriguing plot line, twists and turns along the way, and overall just an exciting read. It was well written as a debut novel, and I found myself truly enjoying it!

I received a complimentary copy " Read more of this review »
