I spent half an hour talking back and forth with the meat department and the manager before they agreed, yes, I ought to get it for the marked price. I lived across the street from the grocery store. Somewhere between the cash and my apartment . . . I lost the ham. I have NO idea what happened to it. I went back to the store right away but the shift had changed and no one could tell me if a ham had been left behind. Maybe someone else needed that giant ham more than I did? I'll ask Jesus about it when I get to heaven.(less)
