I am currently working on Book 2 in The Tales of Helen and Lysander series. In this book our characters will be a few years older and the adventures they go through will be even more challenging!

I have always had a love of ancient history. There are lots of books about the Romans. There are less about the Greeks. There are even less about the Spartans. The books that are available about the Spartans tend to be based on real characters. The Spartan system of education is so extreme that I thought it would be fun and interesting to write about two characters - a boy and a girl - going through that training programme.
