Some of my plots are inspired by things I picked up from the news. In Iced Malice, which starts with a man freezing to death, that is something that did happen her in the upper midwest. The other one, about the missing couples, was inspired by a case that happened in southeast WI more than fifty years ago.

In general, reading in my genre, suspense, is what inspired me to start writing my own book and is also what keeps me challenged to produce one as excellent as those I read of others.

I believe in writing without editing as you go. Just write! If you can get in the habit of leaving perfectionism behind as you write, writer's block will never be a problem. You just keep going, editing comes later.

I'm working on a third in series for my first book, She's Not There.The title is (tentatively) Undone. It's with my editor now so that means it is time to start a new one!
