Cathy Pegau Hi Rachel!
I'm so glad you enjoyed the books!
Though I don't have anything official planned for Charlotte, I never say never :) Who knows what the future might bring?
Thanks so much for reading!
Cathy Pegau Hi Greg!
Sorry it's taken so long to get back to you. Goodreads isn't great at informing me about contacts : P
Congrats to your school's science bowl team! Hope they enjoyed their visit here : )
Thanks for writing, and again, my apologies for the delay!
Cathy Pegau Hi, Wendy.
Not at the moment. But I'll let you know!
Thanks for reading : )

Cathy Pegau Hi, Jessica.
I'm not sure if there will be more. I'll let you know : )
Cathy Pegau Hi, Rachel. I sincerely apologize for not answering you sooner! I didn't realize you had left a comment and question here. Darn technology.
First, thank you for reading! I'm very glad you enjoyed them : )
I don't have a date for the next book, but when I do I'll let you know : )
Cathy Pegau I lead a very boring life, so I would need to embellish something. Like, "Who lives in the old, ramshackled house by the lake? In a town this size, where everyone knows everyone, why can't anyone tell me about that house and owner?"
That's about all I have : )
Thanks for the question!
Cathy Pegau Holy moly! Joanne, I am SO SO SO sorry I hadn't responded to this! I never received a notice that you'd posted the question. I feel horrible!

Did the book ever arrive?

Again, my sincere apologies! Had I seen your question I would have responded immediately!
Cathy Pegau Hi, Caidyn. Thanks so much for the lovely review of MotLF. I'm very glad you liked it.

I set the series in that era because I find that wherever/whenever changes are occurring the most interesting things tend to happen, and people show their true selves one way or another.

The sequel will probably be up on NetGalley sometime in spring. When it actually happens isn't up to me, however :) As soon as Kensington puts it out there, I'll let you know.

Thanks again!
Cathy Pegau One of three ways. I step away from the computer and do something mindless like vacuum or dishes. I'll make a note like "Something happens here" and move on to another bit of the story. I take up my trusty notebook and pen and try to write what I want to happen long hand. Using low tech methods slows down my brain and is less intimidating than a blank screen.
Chocolate helps too.
Cathy Pegau Setting my own schedule. It's also the worst thing for me, because I am terribly undisciplined ; P
Cathy Pegau Don't worry about whether your work is marketable. Make sure you love what you're writing. Even something "not sellable" may be at some point. When one piece is done, take a short brain break then get writing on something else.
Cathy Pegau Currently working on book #3 in the Charlotte Brody series. But I take a break now and again to revisit shorter works.
Cathy Pegau Deadlines are a great motivator : )
It also helps to love the story and characters you're working with.
Cathy Pegau MURDER ON THE LAST FRONTIER was inspired by a story told to me and my family by a local when we were visiting a local cemetery.
