I am working on my second novel. It is about post-WW2 Sicilian Immigration to Australia. And yes, I am typing the manuscript with one shaky finger. I think I am about 1/3 of the way through it. I am thrilled to announce that my debut novel, "Birds in the Nest," will be available on Amazon starting this Monday. The novel is set in the early twentieth century and follows the journey of an immigrant girl from Northern Ireland to Australia.
I want to share that I typed this novel over the course of six years using only one finger because I am confined to a wheelchair and have fine motor skill dysfunction. The story is inspired by the life of my paternal grandmother.
