As a wide-eyed lad who experienced the first Star Wars movie when it came out in 1977, I'd have to say a Galaxy Far, Far Away. I would like to say I'd slay Darth Vader, but I'd probably just end up imbibing intoxicating elixirs in the Tatooine Cantina.

Find your passion, then write every day. Consider starting a blog and finding an audience as you develop your voice. Then, gradually, as you build an audience, step up your goals to something bigger. Also, are there universal truths to what you're writing about? Even if your interests are very niche and obscure, find the human connection so that even those who aren't interested in your passions will still want to read you because of some interesting insight you bring to the table about human nature and about ourselves.
