To be honest, my writing ritual isn't really complex. I write mostly between 6-7am on weekdays, and usually 6-10am on weekends (even into the afternoon sometimes). The only curse is having to leave it for my day job LOL!
Unless, of course, you mean what I produce in my writing - then, that's a whole other story. It's never the routine, it's just the craziness that's inside my head haha.

I have a 9-5, is there any more inspiration needed than that?

One question I've always wanted the answer to, and you'll see it in my first series, is what lies at the beginning of everything? It's not God as we perceive them to be, but something had to create God, something had to set the conditions to initiate the big bang to happen. Something has not been created from nothing, and ultimately, life's biggest mystery lies at Point Zero (let's call it that).

I'm a very slow reader, so I've only committed to one. It's also outside my traditional reading genre (fantasy), so I'm also broadening my horizons. The book is 'A Realm of Masks and Sorrow' by fellow, Edmonton Indie author, Payton Rose :)

Start journaling, but not in the traditional sense. Take twenty minutes, meditate for a moment, put on some soft, instrumental music, and then write whatever comes into your head (handwrite, not type). Don't think, don't contextualize, just write! After twenty minutes is up, you'll be amazed at how much clearer your head is, which will help free up your mind to cure what ails it - and should fix your writer's block.
