Jason Bramble I don't yet have a working title, as I am still in the early research phase, focusing on developing a timeline and outlining the story. Essentially, it's an alternate history of Earth where magic exists and has significantly influenced the geopolitical landscape since World War II. In this world, the rules of magic are governed by probabilities at the quantum level, with an entire field of science dedicated to its study. The novel will follow a hero's journey and blend elements of espionage, fantasy, and horror, intertwining three distinct narratives into an overarching story that will comprise a trilogy.

Jason Bramble To be completely candid, writing isn’t my full-time job; I work as a software and game developer to support myself financially. The most fulfilling aspect of writing for me is the escape it provides from that reality. In the evenings, as I immerse myself in my book, I fully engage with the lives of my characters, experiencing their joys and fears alongside them. In those fleeting moments, I cease to exist and step into someone else’s shoes. At times, I would even say it became all-consuming. This sense of escape is truly indescribable, and I wholeheartedly encourage everyone to give it a try.
Jason Bramble "He abruptly awoke to the painful realization that his wife, children, and friends had all been mere figments of his imagination—they had never actually existed. The harsh truth that he would never again feel their warm embrace filled him with a profound loneliness, tears welling in his eyes."

While it may not fit the conventional definition of horror, it is a nightmare that haunts me—a terror I find myself reliving repeatedly in my own dreams.
Jason Bramble When I was around eight years old, I lived in a double-wide trailer with my parents on my grandparents' farm in Chester County PA, which had been established in the mid-1700s. The trailer sat atop the ruins of an old tenant house that had burned down, though my knowledge of its history is limited. What remains vividly etched in my memory are the footsteps echoing in the hall, unsettling noises, and even faces peering through the windows. One particular incident still haunts me: I awoke one night to the chilling sensation of an icy hand gripping the back of my neck. I bolted out of bed and raced toward the door, fumbling to switch on the light. I dared not look back, convinced that something was pursuing me. When I finally flicked on the switch, there was nothing there, yet I could still feel the hand's lingering presence. Now at 50, I often wonder if it was merely a night terror, but I no longer trust my memory of those events enough to be certain. Regardless, the fear was so profound that I slept with the covers over my neck all through high school.
