Stu Jones Hi there, "Moon" will officially release next summer (2020) from Vesuvian Books. There are currently just a handful of Advance Review Copies out there, but more opportunities for a chance to grab an early copy will be coming in the following months. ;) Thanks for your interest!
Stu Jones I've loved sci-fi ever since I was a kid. I was inspired early on by the Twilight Zone and classics such as War or the Worlds, The Time Machine and A Princess of Mars. My first trilogy was post-apocalyptic, so while not hard sci-fi it still fell within that that scope. Once I linked up with Dr. Worthington(an actual scientist) to write It Takes Death To Reach A Star, the sci-fi thing really got kicked into overdrive. Short answer: I suppose the genre always has been a natural fit for me(but that doesn't mean I won't branch out in the future). Great question!
Stu Jones Write something. Then write something else. Forget if people like it or not, or if it's what anyone else wants to read. Write it for YOU. Write till your mind aches and your eyes bleed - then do it all over again. You are the only one who can stop you.
Stu Jones The actual process, energy, and excitement of creation, first. Then sharing the three-ring circus I've got upstairs with total strangers and seeing them get fired up about the experience.
Stu Jones Exercise. Once I hit that terminal point-of-no-return where the idea factory shuts down, the only remedy is strenuous physical activity. A walk around the block won't get it done. It's got to be intense!
