Thanks very much Dave, I'm really pleased you enjoyed them! I don't yet have a date for Auto 3 as I've been taking a break from the Auto Series, and am working on a new book set in the London Underground. But I do hope to return to it in the future. I'll certainly announce Auto 3 when it comes.

Relationship Status was originally written as a one-off story for a Valentine's Day anthology, so part of the inspiration was writing something with a romantic theme. At that time in 2012, most people I knew were using Facebook to announce or discuss their personal lives, so I wondered what it would be like if the future equivalent of Facebook started deciding your relationship status for you. It seemed to me that people would believe anything social media told them, even if it wasn't true - something that's still the case!
