If I could, I would like to travel to the world of Alexandre Dumas's 'The Three Musketeers' to see how the friendship works between the Musketeers and d'Artagnan. Their bond between battles would be something I would love to see and learn when it comes to my own personal friendships.

Something lurks in the dark - cold, mysterious, murderous. When a killer rises from the grave, it's anyone's guess how they will survive!
(I tried, lol. You just can't nail a good horror story in two sentences so I wrote a teaser :))

I'm planning to reread my copies of Shakespeare's classics. I haven't read The Tempest yet, so I'm anxious to check it out. I have the King Henry plays, Othello and the rest. If I happen to speak in Shakespearan English this fall, you'll know I've read a bit too much, lol.

I think the mystery is finally discovering 'the light' Plato mentions in his Allegory of the Cave. You know, the 'what ifs' that creep into everyone's life and what they would have done differently. For me, that is the mystery, 'what if' I had done this rather than that? The plot would have to involve a man faced with making a choice, facing the rewards and consequences of said choice then looking back on it years later unaware how things might had ended up the other way.

The next book, Storm Over South Central is an anthology based on a few short stories and poems I wrote in college. I felt they have some relevance for today's reader but the idea for this book was a result of writing the types of stories I feel needed to be said along with topics in my poems that must be addressed on a social level.

I write down ideas for the next piece I'm writing on a notepad and then see whether or not it works as a story or article. Observing people, places and things around me is an inspiration too.

Don't worry about your first draft because you will make mistakes. There's always the rewrite to expand or reject an idea you think may or may not work in your piece, but for the first draft, there's no limit. Write what you feel you'd like to see in your fiction or non-fiction work.

You have this sense of pride that what you wrote helps to motivate someone else or encourage them when they need positive words for the day.

I try experimenting with writing additional scenes or rewriting a scene I've already typed out. If it's an article, I write down additional words, phrases, ideas to keep my mind engaged and not stuck.
