Lea Cherry Ooh, now that's a tough one. There are so many wondrous worlds, but if I had to choose one it would be between Narnia (because you know animals talk and it's very medieval style) and the world of Harry Potter because you know Magic! So it's a tough choice between magic and talking animals.
Lea Cherry As I walked into the kitchen after my husband's funeral, a figure was busy making tea for two. He handed me the cup and as I stared into those dead eyes of my dearly departed all he said was "Now it's your turn to die".
Lea Cherry I don't really have a set reading list planned for the summer/winter, but have started reading Rebel by Joanne Macgregor and will most probably read the Bone Witch, Cataclysm, and a few South African Indie authors.
Lea Cherry Good question. I am currently working on something written by my 'adult' name Jillian Rose called Undiscovered which is somewhat related to my life. It is about the main character who lost herself and her identity as a woman after a 15year marriage. When her husband left her for no reason and 2 kids, she must find herself again and who she is in order to heal and let go.
Now, my husband hasn't left me, but I have gone through the process of finding yourself and some serious 'issues' arise from your early years which will help create this book.
Lea Cherry Never give up. I know that sounds like such a clichè, but without the will to pull through, you won't get to where you want to go.
Lea Cherry I would say living in your own world and being able to live out deep, dark fantasies (like having powers) which you wouldn't really mention to most people.
Lea Cherry Sometimes inspiration can knock on your door when you least expect it. That's why I keep a small journal book with me at all times so that I can write it down before I forget. Other times I just feel the urge to write and that I can't seem to do anything else unless I have written at least a few 100 words.
Lea Cherry To tell the truth, the idea actually came from a Metallica song, Enter Sandman. Most of my ideas come from song lyrics.
Lea Cherry I am currently reworking my published novel The Rose of Cavendish in order to make it better and stronger. Applying everything I've learned since its publication in 2011. I am also working on a new witchy series, as well as a stand alone novel (so far) which I don't want to mention right now.
Lea Cherry Writer's block can seem like a 100 mile run at times, but when it seems like it hits me, I tend to seek inspiration from movies and song. I have received so many ideas from just listening to music.
