Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Michael W. Philliber The idea came from several directions all at once. Some of the reasons are addressed in the Introduction. Primarily it was a coming-together of my own reading; noticing trends at the local book franchise - how the Gnostic and "Alternative Gospels" genre were expanding on the store's shelves; recognizing that Brown's "Da Vinci Code" had been a number 1 seller for some three years at that point; discussions with folks from my own congregation and other churches; listening to what people "on the street" were saying about Brown's book, or Elaine Pagels' works, etc.
