What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Alexis Abbott Don't get bogged down in advice! There is no one way to be a writer, and I think that's so important :) Some people blaze through their first draft and then edit after, some work on their first draft for years, and others write fast and don't do much editing at all. I've found that the more I edit, the more I start changing things that don't make the book better, just different.

But I think the most important thing is to set aside time to just do it. You don't need a fancy laptop, or a coffee shop, or a perfect day where your muse is singing. You just need to believe in yourself, believe that you're capable of doing it, and then do it even when you don't believe in yourself ;)

I was reading the descriptions of all three of the Dangerous Men books and I'm confused as to the order in which to read them. Strayed From the Path sounds like it should be the first book as it is when Angela meets Romy and they do a heist together. The Narrow Path is after the heist and when Jamal comes back into her life. Is the order to read correct?

You're right - Book 2 occurs before Book 1, filling in what happened leading up to the events in Book 1 and hopefully making Book 3 more dynamic! They can be read in either order, but I think it's better with The Narrow Path read first.
