Adrielle Reina Lombrica from the Ink trilogy (Cornelia Funke). These books weren't the first books that inspired me to write, but to pursue it. They hold such a special place in my heart and I'd love to live there and explore everything.
Adrielle Reina I definitely want to finish the Legendborn Cycle by Tracy Deonn, Witchcraft for Wayward Girls by Grady Hendrix, I think Kalynn Bayron is releasing a new horror book this summer and she's always on my immediate buy, always buy, buy no matter what list/s (you get the idea).

I'm super excited to see what's in store with my publisher too. I know there are some cool books and anthologies coming out, but I'm not sure what I'm allowed to say lol. So, expect that, of course.

My friend, DL Hannah, has a cool sci-fi series that I plan to keep reading. To Be Saved by Ophelia Reigns. More indie works, for sure. I love the rawness and grit that indies have. They seem to take more risk. And I know there's so many I'm forgetting because I'm the worst (I'm sorry).
Adrielle Reina My main focus is a paranormal romance that still has some horror elements, but also comedic? Kind of camp. Like Buffy meets Trueblood meets Charmed. lol. I'm super excited for it. It was supposed to be done already but...

Ya know. lol.
Adrielle Reina I began Ballad in 2017. For me, it was about my own fears and worst case scenarios if things went off the rails because of the political climate. In that sense, horror, dystopian, and feminine rage was the foundation for social commentary I used to get those fears I had out through fiction.
