Adrielle Reina is a spooky, kooky autistic lady from Appalachia. She studied biological anthropology and data engineering, but cursing her enemies and writing are her true passions. She has a cool son who often reminds her how uncool she is, three dogs, a cat, and a husband who looks like Nicholas Hoult (he’s also funny too). Legends say that she can be summoned with coffee, Pokémon, more dogs, horror movies/books, and the blood of those who wish her ill.

I'm super excited to see what's in store with my publisher too. I know there are some cool books and anthologies coming out, but I'm not sure what I'm allowed to say lol. So, expect that, of course.

My friend, DL Hannah, has a cool sci-fi series that I plan to keep reading. To Be Saved by Ophelia Reigns. More indie works, for sure. I love the rawness and grit that indies have. They seem to take more risk. And I know there's so many I'm forgetting because I'm the worst (I'm sorry). (less)

Publishing is a FICKLE Industry

I watched a snippet of Leigh Bardugo talking about the industry and how fickle it is.

This IS a hard industry. I never became a writer because I thought I’d be making money from it. Like, I have NO expectations at all LOL. I write because I want to tell stories and that’s where my passion is.

I applied to over 200 agents, overall, and so many different publishers that didn’t mind unagented manusc Read more of this blog post »
