Well, I've actually been writing stories since the age of thirteen but a lot of the spotlight during the time I was going to school was my poetry. My inspiration comes from all over--to a random object, to an event, to an emotion. Thanks for your question.

Definitely. I had to get adjusted to conveying words in terms of novel speak as opposed to poetic speak. With poetry (at least for me) one gets used to a certain rhythm as it applies to text, yet with short story writing there's a rhythm but in a different way. It is not in the actual text itself but in elements that comprise a terrific story and for the symphony of that to play out. At times, certain areas need more focus than others, especially when genre plays a factor. Yet I am enjoying the adventure. Thanks for asking. :)

For me, marketing is the most daunting thing. I'm a fan of the whole creative aspect. Advertising, not so much. Good question!

I love the process of writing itself--being able to utilize my creativity to the highest potential. It makes me feel good when someone tells me that my writing has touched them and that they can connect with it.

I am currently working on Continuous Drips, a short story anthology. My goal is to release it by December 2014.
