Hi Nycreader21! Thank you so much for your question. I've received some interest for the sequel. I've written about a third of it, but will finish with more requests.
Please tell everyone you know who would love it to please read and review! The more interest it gets, the better! If I can get 500 people who would buy the sequel, then I can save the money to produce it.
Follow me on Patreon (details on the page) so I can keep track of the interest: https://www.patreon.com/KVictoriaChase
Thanks again, and I hope the book finds more readers soon.

I really don't need any inspiration to write. A song, a TV show or movie, working out, reading another book...inspiration for new stories is everywhere.
Right now, I'm working on a contemporary romance short that was inspired by a storyline on General Hospital, lol. Completely different spin and my first attempt at writing in the first person with multiple character points of view. But really, I'm just trying to get a gig on the GH writing staff ;-)

The script I'm working on came to me while listening to "Angel in Blue Jeans" by the musical group Train. At first, I was going to write it as a novella series and then I hopped on the treadmill one day and decided to turn it into a screenplay. HAHA, I think of my best scenes when I'm working out; probably all the endorphins... :-)

Hi Amelia!
Thank you for read The Santiago Brothers series. I'm happy you enjoyed the stories. I do plan on continuing the series and will possibly have the next book drafted by the winter. :-)

Hi S.M.!
First, thank you for reading Serial Games! I'm so happy you enjoyed it. :-)
Congratulations on publishing your novel! I'm sure you're really excited. For promotion, get the next book out! Especially if you write in a series; the more books you have out, the more you can incorporate the funnel technique, which is giving away that first book for free or at an inexpensive price. Or, you can keep it full price and see what happens! There's no one size fit all plan; follow the top authors in your genre and see what they are doing.
You can always promote your book for free on blogs and other promotion sites (see below).
Overall, I wouldn't worry about promoting until you have a few books published; trends may change by the time you do, lol. Make sure your writing is high quality, and the books will aid in the promotion process.
#2 Top Tip (#1 Being write the next book): Have a mailing list. Put the link in the back of your book, on your website, on your book's page on Amazon or wherever it's sold; everywhere. Your fans want to know when the next book is out; don't let them forget about you! ;-)
Thanks for writing!

Sit down and write. Most "writers" or "aspiring authors" have the goal of being published one day. What a lot of them have in common is they don't write. At all. They daydream and talk about one day doing this, that, or the other, but the ONE thing they should be doing is the ONE thing they don't: write.
It's fascinating.
Just write. It doesn't have to be perfect--Lord knows my books are far from it--but once you actually do the deed, the dream can become a reality. You'll either catch a wildfire and go on to achieve your goal, or you'll realize that you weren't really serious about your daydream; it's just fun to dream.
To all the future authors and/or writers just writing to be creative, go ahead and WRITE!

Write a loose outline. I write by the seat of my pants; when a story doesn't come together easily, I have to go back to the basics. What are the goals, motivations, and conflicts of the characters? What needs to be accomplished in this scene? I answer those questions in a short paragraph and that becomes my "outline."

Is there one thing? I'd say I just love being able to write a book and publish it. Seeing the book on Amazon, or other outlets, is just the neatest thing. It's a humbling experience to receive email from fans and to read reviews where readers just loved the books. Living in the world of my characters is also a fun experience. Too many great things to name just one!

VJ3 (Killer Shoot) is with the editor (release date soon!) and I'm writing Keisha's story in the A Richards Family Romance series. I hope to have that story complete and published by February 2015.

Hi Eileen!
Thank you for writing! I just finished book 3 of the Virginia Justice series, Killer Shoot, and will be editing that before it's release in December! Tonight, I will be furiously typing the next Richards Family Romance book, A Bittersweet Love. Readers have been asking about Keisha and she's back! LOL, this should be fun. :-)
