Researching my family genealogy turned up a treasure trove of crazy and hard-to-believe facts, so much so that the fleshed-out pictures of my ancestors were so vivid that I decided to construct a novel around them. As I wrote that novel I continued to research and more and more funny, tragic, mind-boggling stuff turned up, and it led me to a second volume, then a third. As of the latter part of 2016 I am deeply entrenched in the fourth volume, which includes the story of America's first acknowledged serial killer.

Sorry for the delay in responding, Debi. The book is titled "Murderers, Scoundrels and Ragamuffins. It is currently on the giveaway list in anticipation of a September 12 release if you want to enter. The eBook is currently available on Amazon.com but I won't publicize that until near the September 12 date.
