I have been writing, journaling, and scribbling poems all my life. Writing poetry through difficult parts of life actually helps me to make sense of my world. I kept it private for many years until a group of ladies told me how much it spoke to them. They encouraged me to share it, so now I share it as often as possible.

My book is a memoir about a very difficult and painful adoption process. By making peace with the outcome, our hearts were freed to experience a very unexpected blessing. I couldn't keep such a beautiful blessing to myself, so I wrote it down for others to be inspired.
