I am a daughter, wife, mother, and (now) an adoptive mother. Our adoption story is one of signficant pain and loss, yet one that we have watched God fully redeem for His glory after giving up the broken pieces to Him.

I am a bilingual school teacher, as well as a women's Bible study teacher, a poet, and an author. I am passionate about advocating for the orphan and also helping women find an intimate relationship with Christ through prayer and Bible study. Word for 2026--Still

My word for 2025 was Intrepidez (yes, in Spanish), basically meaning fearlessness. I wanted to face the future without fear and let God take me on adventures that I may have shied away from out of fear or anxiety. I'd say I definitely did that and am thankful for the adventures, the memories, and the relationships built in those adventures.

The author does a fabulous job creating a very unique setting with vivid language that makes you feel like you're there. She also has an amazing ability to bring her characters to life so you know them personally as you read through their adventures. ...more
