Oh, thank you so much, Morgan! I'm so happy you enjoyed Interlude! There will be another book set in the same "Love, Lucas" world, but not a straight sequel to Interlude. It should be out next year and is called The Summer of Lost Things. :) I hope you'll check it out!

Hi Matipa! Thank you so much for your kind words! To answer your question, it all depends on the book! Sometimes it takes 2-3 months, sometimes 6-7. It depends on the story and if I have enough time to write each day! :)

Thank you so much!! Sorry, I'm not on Goodreads very often. ;) I came up with the storyline as I sat in front of my kids school waiting to pick them up one day. I started with Lucas's letters to Oakley and it turned into a book. :)

Hi Emily! I actually got my inspiration for Love, Lucas when I had an idea about a brother sending letters to his younger sister. I actually wrote every letter Lucas wrote to Oakley before I even wrote the book. I first called the book Letters From Lucas, but once I finished my manuscript, changed it to Love, Lucas. I've had a lot of family members that have suffered from cancer and that gave me the inspiration to have him suffer from it as well. There are so many hard things in life and I wanted to make sure people know that even though there are hard things, we can get through it. Never forgetting the hard thing, but deciding to be happy.

Hi Molly! While I don't have a straight sequel to Love, Lucas, I do have a companion novel set in the same world called Switching Gears. It will be out in February. Hi Sami! Sorry, I don't get on my author page much. :) There is another book coming out in 2018 called INTERLUDE that has a character from Switching Gears in it. So, not a character from Love, Lucas, but still in the same "world". I hope you'll check it out! It's one of my favorites I've written so far. Hi, Sarah! I am! I have a companion novel coming out in early 2017 (probably Feb.) called Switching Gears. It's about Emmy, the girl Lucas loved before he died. It's full of mountain biking, a cute boy and some tough things Emmy has to go through. Oakley and Lucas make small appearances through flashbacks, so they're in it a little! :)
