Thank you so much for asking. The new book will come out May 13th, in less than 2 weeks!
It will be the complete story in one volume, including an updated book 1 and the conclusion. It will be up for pre-sale through online channels in the next couple of days.

Thank you so much. I am writing the conclusion to So Wild A Dream, which will come out in February (very soon!) You can see a preview here:

After that, it will be a while until I come out with another novella. In the meantime, I don't know if you'd be into reading essays, but I write about craft and fiber arts.

Hi there. Thank you so much for your question. The next book will be out in July '17. I am a slow, slow writer and working to make the most poetic and epic conclusion to Brosa's and Edna's story. I appreciate you sticking with me.
I'll make more announcements here and on my site www.LarissaBrown.net when I have things like a cover and sneak peeks. You can join my enews there. Thanks again. L

There will absolutely be more stories! I have plans for Ginn, Heirik, Betta, Svana and others. They may be shorter pieces, such as novellas, that explore things that happen before Ginn arrives at Hvitmork and also many years later. I have two of them started, but am focusing first on So Wild A Dream.

It was a very hard decision, and in fact so difficult for me to make, it took me over a year to realize that it was the best thing to do. I wanted to be absolutely sure I was doing it for artistic reasons, and not because I was impatient or wanted to sell more books. I don't want that to ever be a reason to publish something. So I scrutinized myself and the story over the past year, and I just realized there were some important reasons to do this.
Brosa's and Edna's story is in many ways more epic than Ginn's. It's more of an adventure story as well as a love story, and the draft was very long. Once I read my complete draft, I felt like the book moved too fast and needed some breathing room. Room for thoughts and emotions and the land and sky, room for love to develop, as well as enemies' plots. Even as the writer, I was having trouble holding the whole big picture in my head, while also getting immersed in each scene. So, two books! And they will have a natural stopping point in the middle, where we can breathe, move on with our lives, and come back to the same place, having breathed. No actual cliffhanger, though I do hope that readers will be motivated to come back for a second half.

So Wild A Dream is the next story in Ginn's 10th century world. And yes, I recently decided to split this next book into two, with the first one coming out early this September, and the second in 2017.

Hi there! Thank you for your question. My next book is a companion book to Beautiful Wreck, called So Wild A Dream. It's scheduled for early summer '16. I am a slow writer, but I'm working hard to continue this world's atmosphere from the point of view of different people outside of Ginn. I hope you will love it.

Hi there! Thanks for wondering and asking. I have two books planned for this year: A novella called Tress, which is unrelated to Beautiful Wreck, is a fairytale/horror/love story. That is slated to come out in late March.
Then I will have a companion novel to Beautiful Wreck, which is in the works and is epic and I am such a slow writer! It's tentatively called So Wild A Dream, and it centers on Brosa, Heirik's brother, who goes through some hell and falls in love. We don't have a date on that one, but it will be by the end of 2015. I swear on my keyboard. :)
In the meantime, you can sign up for my e-news which includes updates on these books and also my other writing. http://eepurl.com/Y9N4T
EDITED TO ADD: Tress is now available for presale for kindle! http://www.amazon.com/Tress-Larissa-B...
