Rose McClelland Seeing your front cover and feeling like the work has all come together.
Rose McClelland I set aside a time to write - say a Saturday morning at 10am. I make myself sit down at the desk. I set a timer for about 2 hours. I tell myself that I am going to focus solely on writing for those 2 hours. Even if I'm just making notes on character or plot, I'm doing something. Quite often, I find that the 2 hours is quite productive. It's just making yourself sit down and allocate the time to write which is the biggest hurdle.
Rose McClelland Remember that the journey is more important than the destination. Try to set aside overwhelming fears of how long it might take to get published. Instead, try to think about what you could do today. Could you enjoy sitting down for an hour and writing some ideas? Then do that. Don't look too far ahead. Just enjoy the journey today.
