Kresti, thank you for the question. Sales have declined over the last four audiobooks and I can't afford Teri's hourly rate.

Hi, A.R.,
I spend several weeks before I start writing, and then I continue to research as I write. The fun comes in massaging the story and history to work together. I fell in love with history in grade school while living in Virginia and studying the Commonwealth's history and going to Jamestown, Yorktown, and Williamsburg.

My favorite reading experiences were reading Lord of the Rings Trilogy and The Source. I love reading but I don't think I've had that absolute immersion in other books they way I did with those.
If you're asking which is the favorite of my books, I'd have to say The Ruby Brooch. It's the book of my heart. It took 12 years and dozens of drafts. My husband died the day I wrote THE END in the first draft.

Not yet. I just got the software. Now I have to find the time to pull all the characters together. Maybe I should start with one large piece of paper. When I figure it out, I'll post it on my website.

Writer's block comes when I'm not sure where the story is going. I know the answer will come if I'm patient. A hot shower usually frees my mind and brings that ah ha moment.

For me, it's doing what I always dreamed of doing, and I'm living in my sweet spot!

Read, write, read, and write some more. Read books outside the genre you want to write in. Make writing a daily habit, even if you only write fifty words.
