J.J. Cassidy I never finished it, but over the last month I started going through older stories. Of all the things I have on the back burner, I thought DoF was probably the story I should concentrate on and release. Thank you so much for liking the original!
J.J. Cassidy Thank you! Yes, I'm still writing, although I'm a pretty slow writer, really. I did publish a holiday story in December, 2016, called "Doornails & Holly", available through Amazon. I'm working on a slightly extended/edited version of "In the Court of the Forgotten", plus a holiday story for 2017. And if real life would slow down, I might be able to finish a couple of other projects and get them out there, too.
J.J. Cassidy That's a really good question, LOL. Long before I wrote "Complicated", I wrote a novel (unpublished) that explained the Aiden/Emery/Blais relationship. I was never happy with it--for lots of reasons--but do plan on rewriting it and publishing it at some point in the future. I also want to finish the story of how the jaguars were originally captured by the government...which doesn't have a happy ending, which is a problem. But yes, I do plan to write more in that world!
J.J. Cassidy Thank you so much for asking! My plan is to release a longer version, with an all-new second "half" that takes Naxom and Zeri to Zeri's homeland. I would love to release it late 2015, and that actually looks like it might be possible.
J.J. Cassidy I haven't been watching, mainly because there are no jaguars! And actually, tigers are the closest big cat [to jaguars] in terms of behavior, so maybe I do have to check that out... Jaguars are notoriously hard to capture on video, although there's a great one of a male jaguar rolling around and "posing" for a camera set up on a road in South America--you'd swear he knew what it was.
J.J. Cassidy Berg and DJ are two of my favorite guys, and yes, I do plan on continuing their story. Oddly, I just wrote some more about them recently--I was getting supplies to make coquito, and that made me think about them. I am so glad you enjoyed their story!
