Anna Erikssön Bendewald Just before taking her last breath it came to her. The beautiful boy had been poisoning her with the ornate candies he'd so seductively placed between her lips while pretending he liked her.
Anna Erikssön Bendewald Gosh, I'm not much of a fantasy reader, but I like some of the coziness of The Shire so I'd like to vacation in a Hobbit hole for a season, and as a girl I liked the idea of going to Oz where I could sight see.
Anna Erikssön Bendewald I write the kind of books I love. I grew up reading Sydney Sheldon, Ian Flemming, Jackie Collins. I loved Shirley Conran too. Stories that remind me of getting lost in their plots swirl in my head and come out my fingers when let my mind go.
Anna Erikssön Bendewald I'm working on two novels. One is in editing at the moment and the other is waiting its turn at the editing phase. Both set in Venice, Paris, and a little town called Gernelle (France). My husband laughingly called them "50 Shades of DaVinci Code Part 1 & 2".
Anna Erikssön Bendewald Gosh, my advice is to GO FOR IT. I've heard so many people grumble that everybody considers themselves a writer nowadays. But that smacks of elitism because I personally would be really interested to read a story written by my chiropractor, etc. It's an exciting time for writers and readers alike, so get your story out there.
Anna Erikssön Bendewald It is my favorite creativity outlet. I get an idea while sitting in LA traffic driving my daughters to school, go home, write and get it out on paper. Then think of the next pages while sitting in traffic going to pick them up and bring them home again.

That being said, writing is something I can do anywhere, and it's more productive than sitting playing Angry Bird* if I have to sit somewhere for a while.

*Nothing against Angry Bird, that was just an example.
Anna Erikssön Bendewald Writer's block. That's a tough thing for people who suffer from staring at the blank page. I've only had temporary moments when the characters aren't speaking to me (or each other) clearly -- but if I got back and read a few pages of the draft, the flow of the story picks back up again for me to continue writing.
Anna Erikssön Bendewald I'm hard at work on two novels that are set in Venice, Italy and Paris, France and the Champagne region of France. My idea was the interaction between people and their best friends -- how they support us and how best to be true to them. The first book sets up the characters and plot and takes us on quite a ride as a main character comes dangerously unhinged. The second book takes us farther down the rabbit-hole with the characters, and their linages back to the beginning of civilization.
