There's a lot in life we have no control over, so I think having an infinite amount of control over something, be it an imagined world, is a nice break from reality. Though, I'm starting to believe some of my characters have more control over me than I do them.

Poorly. Which is why finishing my first series is taking so long to finish. I'd like to say I deal with writer's block by sitting at the keyboard and writing anyways, but most of the time I find myself neck deep in Pinterest, imagining all the ways I want to organize my house knowing full well it's never going to happen. But being a dreamer is a part of being a writer.

I'm actually working on more than a couple things right now, but I've been going back and forth between the fourth (and final!) book in my current series (#TheAuraSeries) and a new book tentatively called After Life, a sci-fi thriller.
