Which is why finishing my first series is taking so long to finish. I'd like to say I deal with writer's block by sitting at the keyboard and writing anyways, but most of the time I find myself neck deep in Pinterest, imagining all the ways I want to organize my house knowing full well it's never going to happen. But being a dreamer is a part of being a writer. (less)

Though, I'm starting to believe some of my characters have more control over me than I do them.(less)

Fourth Annual Kankakee Fantasy Convention!

So here we are. Coming up on the fourth Kankakee Fantasy Con! This will be my third year appearing and I can only hope it will be as fun as the last two. My first year was the most successful, selling all but one of my books (I had 35 total!), last year wasn't as great but at least I got to see the Jedi battle this time!

Anyways, this is just a short reminder post to anyone in the KankakeeBradleyBo Read more of this blog post »

Madalyn Murray O'Hair
“I'll tell you what you did with Atheists for about 1500 years. You outlawed them from the universities or any teaching careers, besmirched their reputations, banned or burned their books or their writings of any kind, drove them into exile, humiliated them, seized their properties, arrested them for blasphemy. You dehumanised them with beatings and exquisite torture, gouged out their eyes, slit their tongues, stretched, crushed, or broke their limbs, tore off their breasts if they were women, crushed their scrotums if they were men, imprisoned them, stabbed them, disembowelled them, hanged them, burnt them alive.

And you have nerve enough to complain to me that I laugh at you.”
Dr Madalyn Murray O'Hair

“And, you know, politics aside, the success of Sarah Palin and women like her is good for all women - except, of course —those who will end up, you know, like, paying for their own rape ‘kit ‘n’ stuff, But for everybody else, it’s a win-win. Unless you’re a gay woman who wants to marry your partner of 20 years - whatever. But for most women, the success of conservative women is good for all of us. Unless you believe in evolution. You know - actually, I take it back. The whole thing’s a disaster.”
