Kerry Dunnington My advice is to go ahead and write and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. But if you are going to take your work a step further, i.e., getting it published, first share it with as many people as you think will give you the kind of feedback a agent or editor would give you so that you are prepared if you want to get your work published. Always, always, always, get your work edited and proofread.

Kerry Dunnington There are a few very helpful things that I do when I have writer's block. Taking a walk alone (we have a wonderful footpath through the woods) is helpful because it's me with the open sky and nature and this is often when some really great ideas are born. I also feel renewed and ready to get back to writing. Cleaning out a closet or decluttering a room is another way to clear the cobwebs that can sometimes cause writer's block.

Kerry Dunnington I love general, all-purpose cookbooks, so the idea for Tasting the Seasons came naturally to me. We all eat and serve appetizers, breakfast, brunch, soups, entrees, salads, side dishes, breads and grains and desserts, so why not have one cookbook that's got it all to use for everyday eating and entertaining.
Kerry Dunnington The new edition of my first cookbook, This Book Cooks was published in 2016. The revised edition of this cookbook was so exciting to re-release because the first edition was so popular and the new book offered so many helpful additions and so much more useful culinary information. In the new edition, This Book Cooks: Farm-Fresh Traditional Recipes for Healthy Contemporary Cooking readers will discover lively, useful, new and inspiring introductory material, a comprehensive index and a stylish, user-friendly format. My newest cookbook, Modern Additions to Classic Traditions: Elevate Your Tastes with 150 Irresistible Recipes will be published in the Fall of 2017.
