The best thing about being a writer has to be seeing how the worlds I create delight, excite, and emotionally touch other people. Seeing how they care about these things that came from my imagination gives me immense gratification and inspires me to keep creating.

Right now I’m working on a few things. I’m drafting Sin Beyond Redemption, which is the third book in the AOS Saga. I’m also waiting for feedback on Emergence, the second book, so I can work on revising it. And, I’m counting down the days to the release of my first book, The First Sin!

I often listen to playlists I’ve created for the book I’m working on, or otherwise listen to other music (usually instrumental). Sometimes I talk about my current project with my husband and jot notes down in a notebook. Other times, I might go for a walk out in nature. If I’m really struggling, I try to “nap” and deliberately daydream while in that half-awake, half-asleep state!
